""Brody Hughes lives in Norman, Oklahoma, with his wife, Kris, and four sons, Robbie, Kaden, Lex, and Link Brody is a Marine Corps combat veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He served with the 3rd Battalion 5th Marines, in Fallujah, Iraq. He currently works as a high school wrestling coach and is pursuing a master's degree in psychology with a focus on grief and trauma cousins from MACU in Oklahoma City. His work has been featured in Ariel Chart International Literary Journal, and Wingless Dreamers Publishing and Press. He was awarded the 2023 Norman Oklahoma Writing Award for Poetry. ""
