Muddasir Basheer completed his early schooling and college from his hometown Bijbehara, Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir. He did his Master of Science in Zoology from Jiwaji University, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India.Also he has done his Master of Philosophy in Zoology (M. Phil.) under the guidance of Professor O. P. Agrawal,Jiwaji University Gwalior.
