Verruco-Papillary lesions have very similar appearance clinically and histopathologically. As they clinically present a diagnostic dilemma, histopathological examination becomes important in the differentiation of the lesions to determine the nature of such lesions. Microscopic evaluation of these lesions helps to rule out early or hidden malignancy. Histopathology remains to be a gold standard in diagnosing this diverse group of lesions. This review describes different verruco-papillary lesions affecting oral cavity.
