Autorenporträt
Zishan Evans is the product of a Mississippi and Arkansas family. He was born and reared on Chicago's great south side and in his early youth was a strong adherent of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Since he was 17 years of age, he has studied music, creative writing, drama and the theatre. He attended Chicago's grammar and high schools and earned his college degree in Chicago.Mr. Evans is an entrepreneur. He is vitally involved and concerned with the theatre as a playwright, lyricist, composer and producer.Mr. Evans is deeply rooted in the American traditional capitalistic system but recognizes its many inequities. He feels a moral responsibility for them and the social problems that confront many Americans and speaks and acts "out" against them.
