Lavita Lobo is a Playback Singer/Songwriter in the Indian film industry. She hails from Mangalore, a beautiful coastal city known for its vibrance, food, beaches and everything good under the sun. She is also a scholarship recipient from AR Rahman's music college where she completed her Diploma in Western Classical Music. She has bagged numerous awards for her singing and music, including the "Best Western Classical Singer" award from the KM Music Conservatory, "Best Female Singer Konkani" and she also has the title of "Rani Kogul" which translates to Queen Nightingale. She enjoys her stage time, performing around the country and abroad with her band. In her spare time she travels, reads and writes as a form of self expression.
