Autorenporträt
PhD, Docent, a folklorist at the University of Helsinki who has worked extensively with the formal dynamics of poetics and language in oral-traditional systems and how these operate as resources in meaningmaking. He is responsible for the Academy of Finland project "Mythology, Verbal Art and Authority in Social Impact" (2016-2022) and leader of the Kone Foundation project "Materiality, Verbal Art, Mythic Knowledge and the Lived Environment (ASME)" (2021-2025). He has published over a hundred articles and edited numerous collections.
