Autorenporträt
Roy Buford Jackson was born, raised, and educated in the capitol city of, Austin, Texas. Roy received his bachelor's degree from The University of Texas in Austin and his masters degree from The University of Texas in Arlington. He had a long career in engineering with major companies (35 years), followed by becoming a system/software contractor (20 years). Roy was well known for producing logical focused solutions to major efforts in commercial and military projects. This included communications, aircraft, weapons, defense systems, and in other project areas as well. Roy's s marriage (53 years) developed in him a deep spiritual, poetic view, with eternal love for his wonderful talented wife (Laura Jo Holley Jackson, now in God's hands), and the family she produced for him (Roy James, Lisa, Mark, and Luke). Roy Buford Jackson, "An Old Texan", currently lives in Granbury, Texas.
