The recruitment and use of children by armed forces and groups remains the most frequent violation of children's rights in CAR, accounting for 584 cases out of a total of 792 cases of serious violations confirmed and documented in 2020 by the Minusca. The conviction of Thomas Lubanga Dylo by the International Criminal Court on March 14, 2012 for the recruitment and use of child soldiers marks the end of a denial of justice.
