Robert Hilfinger is a new author living in the Boston area. His next book entitled "Stan" is about a young boy from a small Midwestern town. Stan had led a charmed life, excelling in whatever he set his mind to. By twelve years old, he had reached statewide recognition in two seemingly incongruous endeavors; baseball and piano. Qualifying for state championships in each, his dilemma was which of the two simultaneous events he would compete in. Then tragedy struck.
