The inspiration for creating this book was born out of the desire to teach young children a simplistic and enjoyable way to learn about Canada's capitals in their provinces and territories.Some time ago, Mario's eight-year-old daughter Sydney (who is portrayed as Victoria in this story) approached him to help study for a school test on Canada's capitals. He was able to teach her by a devised technique using humorous word association in an illustrated storyline. Taking the imagination and association approach, Sydney was able to effortlessly memorize all of the capitals in Canada.
