Video streaming is one of the most important tools in many fields e.g. distance learning education, healthcare and telemedicine, electronic banking and shopping and network infrastructure, due to its many advantages. Information Technology can offer a great deal of flexibility in the utilization of distributed resources. The main objectives of this project are to: Review in depth video streaming techniques and Design and implement a low cost live video streaming system in LAN and WAN. In order to investigate the performance of video streaming in LAN & WAN, different bandwidth was used, and more than one client was considered. Three experiments were conducted, using the intranet of the University of Khartoum. This networks is based on frame really technology
