The book reveals that, the lack of integrated supply chains and often low technological infrastructure for production, combined with investment decisions being based on word of mouth rather those well research facts, leave room for improvement. In other words, despite the industry's large volume and annual value, the vertical parts of the supply chain portray little cooperation.
