Ligia Trujillo Aldama (1933) is an educationalist and was active in the underground movement prior to the revolution. She founded the Pedagogical Institute of Latin America and the Caribbean and has collaborated with the UNESCO Cuba Commission. She was a close friend and collaborator of Vilma Espín.
