Lakshan Chaturi is a retired teacher and a professional children's book writer. She has written five inspiring books for children between five to twelve years of age. Her next book is Vincent and Crazy Cops. She loves creating books of as powerful and convincing characters as they can be. The books' character traits keep the children absorbed. After her recovery, she left Darwin Northern Territory Australia. Now, Lakshan lives on acreage with a lovely landscaped garden that she has created for herself in Brisbane, Queensland. Though fragile in health, she took up further studies in children's writing and succeeded. She leads a quiet life without the hustle and bustle of the city. Yoga and meditation are a must part of her daily life.
