Vincenzo della Greca (1592 1661) was a 17th century Italian architect. His works include Santa Maria delle Grazie, Marino and probably the upper part of Santi Domenico e Sisto, Rome. Architecture is both the process and product of planning, designing and construction. Architectural works, in the material form of buildings, are often perceived as cultural and political symbols and as works of art. Historical civilizations are often identified with their surviving architectural achievements.
