Born in Toronto, Antoine started studying classical ballet at age 4. At age 18, she studied for three years with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater is a modern dance company based in New York, New York. It was founded in 1958 by choreographer and dancer Alvin Ailey.
