Violence against children is not an issue of any specific region or country; or of any specific religion, caste, race, generation or culture. It is a worldwide phenomenon which had been poisoning the lives of children. It has been a discipline in many cultures, religions and societies. Despite the concentration and serious efforts of NGOs, civil societies and different international organizations like UNICEF to reveal the extent of the issue, we are lacking authentic, complete and reliable information which can paint the picture of this all-inclusive problem. A few studies against this issue have been conducted which produced incomplete data having serious gaps and not providing solid evidences to be used to take certain measures in order to address this issue. The purpose to conduct this study on the under discussion subject was only to make contribution to the former studies and to provide certain evidences as well as recommendations to those organizations or bodies which are striving to address, eliminate and combat this sore. Its aim was also to explore the data on the forms, scope, and nature of the issue and also about vulnerable settings.
