Once upon a time,” Violet said, “a brave little girl and her brother set out on a long, long journey. A journey fraught with danger and peril.” They were making their way to Papa Jean-Louis’s to deliver soup when . . . The upstairs neighbor might be a wolf. . . . A shortcut leads to a spooky cave. . . . Soon the children find themselves lost in a deep, Dark woods. . . . Is Violet’s story real, or just in her imagination? With excitement and more than a few surprises, Violet and the Woof will have readers wide-eyed, smiling, and asking for the story again and again.

Autorenporträt
Rebecca Grabill would love nothing more than to pack up her wagon and go on a “journey fraught with danger and peril,” but the closest she’s come (so far) is a road trip to NYC with her five children during a blizzard. When she’s not journeying, Rebecca lives and writes all sorts of adventures in rural Michigan with her husband, children, cats, and chickens. Her first picture book was Halloween Good Night, illustrated by Ella Okstad. You can visit her at www.rebeccagrabill.com.
