Raised in Brooklyn, New York, Jude Emmanuel is a Haitian American novelist and short story writer. His work include, "I Heard Xavier Cry," A tale, based on true events, of love and heartbreak, following Haiti's January 12th, 2010, devastating earthquake. An award-winning author, Jude Emmanuel's work has been featured in various publications. His short essay, "Women-Our Heroes-No Apologies," which celebrates the strength and dignity of women, has received international literary acclaim. Jude Emmanuel has studied Biblical Counseling. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and has completed a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing.
