A survey conducted in lime-growing areas of Madhya Pradesh, India, during February and March 2022 revealed varying levels of bacterial canker disease incidence and severity. Five isolates of the bacteria were characterized by their colony appearance and biochemical tests. Virulence tests showed different symptoms on citrus plants. Evaluating treatments, the interaction of seven treatments and five bacterial isolates significantly influenced the inhibition zone diameter. Notably, copper oxychloride and streptocycline had significant effects, while neem leaf extract showed the smallest impact.
