Later, I worked at Petersburg Wastewater Treatment Plant, my job was testing water samples and read meters.In 2003, I married Katie B. Harris and on July 21, 1989, our son, Pearre Donta Revish was born. Now a student majoring in psychology and mass communication at John Tyler Community College, he celebrated a Spring 2012, graduation and is currently enrolled at Virginia State University.

"Virgil C. Revish is an author, consultant, motivational speaker, and mentor. He taught at junior high until he joined the U.S. Army and served for 3 to 5 years. Due to his devotion to students and education, he returned to teaching. He taught in Fairfax, VA for four years. He later worked at Petersburg Wastewater Treatment Plant, testing water samples and reading meters. From September 1993 to June 1999, he started a volunteer program called ""School Watch" in sex Petersburg schools. In 2000, he worked in an afterschool program called Achievers Plus at the Children's Home of Virginia Baptist. He continues to pursue opportunities to serve students and the community. He works with other visionaries and committed community leaders to encourage the youth. He is also the associate producer of "Pull Your Pants Up" project and video, a nationwide initiative designed to encourage the youth to be responsible, accountable, and prepared to meet and exceed the acceptable societal standards and to rise above the norm.
