enny Rosenwasser is Events Coordinator for the Middle East Children's Alliance and a long-time activist with (and a founding Board member of) Jewish Voice for Peace. She has been organizing around a large spectrum of peace and social justice issues for over forty years, including women's and gay rights, AIDS, prison reform, safe energy, international solidarity, anti-oppression and anti-militarism issues, and full human rights for Palestinians and Israelis. Penny is the author of Voices from a 'Promised Land': Palestinian & Israeli Peace Activists Speak Their Hearts. She earned her Ph.D. in Transformative Learning & Change from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, and is a part-time instructor at the City College of San Francisco. Her forthcoming book, Hope into Practice: Jewish women choosing justice despite our fears, will be published in September 2013.
