The aim of this work is to assess the quality of secondary vocational education in the state public school system in the municipality of Paulo Afonso - BA, with the students of CETEPI's integrated training program as the subjects of this research. The research's main bibliographical references are authors such as Gramsci (1982), Manacorda (2007), Saviani (2007, 2011), Libâneo (1984, 2002) and Frigotto (2006, 2008). And relevant data from institutions such as IDB (2011), CNI (2014), DIEESE (2016), MEC (2016), SENAI (2016), OECD (2016), SGE (2017), which corroborate through documentary bases for this study. The investigation implies a low quality of teaching proposed by the educational center, which consequently generates a process of exclusion of these students in society. The results were extracted from opinion questionnaires on the level of satisfaction and evaluation of students regarding the school infrastructure, the methodology used by the teachers of the specific subjects, and their expectations regarding employability.
