Linda Gates (Chicago, IL) is head of voice at the Northwestern University Department of Theatre, where she teaches voice, speech, dialects, and text. She has worked as a vocal and dialect coach for theatre and opera in New York, Chicago, regional theatre, the UK, and Europe, and has worked with actors and singers Meryl Streep, Placido Domingo, John Malkovich, Sigourney Weaver, Rosemary Harris, and Rex Harrison.
