After Kathy Tripcony's only son took his own life, she began her journey of grief. Creating "journal entries" from both herself and her son, she breaks through the silence that so often accompanies suicide and gives voice to her son's pain with honesty and compassion. Her son speaks with clarity as one who suffers from mental illness; through his voice we feel the agony of his depression. In these pages mother and son follow a path where beauty collides with pain and where hope triumphs.
