Dr Joseph Chaphadzika Chakanza is Associate Professor in the Department of Theology and Religious Studies, Chancellor College, University of Malawi. He studied Social Anthropology at Oxford University and has a special interest in New Religious Movements. He is founding editor of the journal Religion in Malawi.
