In the latest years many changes has been made and the area isn''t so infamous as it used to be. 65% of the population are immigrants or born by immigrants, and nearly 100% of all of the students in the two major schools (Abildgaardskolen and Humlehaveskolen) are 2nd or 3rd generation of immigrants (Danes with immigrant parents). There are no larger ethnic group, but most of the people are from Somalia, Iraq and the Palestinian Territories.
