product portfolio complexity are developed and
related to sales volume and supply chain costs.
Revealed are nonlinearities which imply optimal
portfolio configurations and an approach to
quantifying the most profitable configurations.

Autorenporträt
Dr. Jacobs earned a PhD in Operations & Sourcing Management at
Michigan State University, an MBA at Univ. Minnesota, and a BSIE
at Cal Poly. He is an Assistant Professor at Univ. of
Dayton. Prior he consulted for CGEY, was COO for JL Analytical
Services, and was an IE at IBM. He researches product complexity
and its management strategies.
