Vítor Marcolino da Silva (Lisbon, 20 February 1909-21 July 1982) was a Portuguese footballer. He was one of the first great forwards both for Benfica as for Portugal. Vítor Silva played for Benfica, from 1927/28 to 1935/36, when he had to leave competition, aged only 27, after a serious injury. He won three titles of the Championship of Portugal, in 1929/30, 1930/31 and 1934/35, and the first ever title of the Portuguese I League, in 1935/36. He had 19 caps for Portugal, scoring 8 goals, since his first game, a 2-2 draw with Spain, at 8 January 1928, in Lisbon, in a friendly, aged only 18, to his last, a 1-3 loss to Germany, in Lisbon, at 27 February 1936, in Lisbon.
