Utilizing the 9mm Luger cartridge, it is a civilian legal version of the military weapon. The pistol has had a somewhat rocky start with severe quality control issues on early production guns. Early M-11-9''s had feeding issues that were eventually traced to poor quality metal used in the feed ramp. There were also issues of failure-to-fire and UFAF (unintentional full-auto fire) that were traced to poor quality firing pins and sear assemblies.
