Stress at work is a subject of growing interest in the organizational world due to the deleterious consequences it has on the health and performance of employees, as well as causing damage to corporate business. The aim of this study was to assess vulnerability to work-related stress in telemarketers using the factors Organizational Climate and Functioning, Pressure at Work, Infrastructure and Routine and the General Scale, and the possible relationships with socio-occupational factors such as gender, age, marital status, education, experience and type of telemarketing. The Vulnerability to Stress at Work Scale (EVENT) and a socio-occupational questionnaire were used. The sample consisted of 201 telemarketers from a company located in the interior of the state of São Paulo.
