Lord Chennakesavaswamy, one of the famous temples in the village, was built during their reign. It was built as a mark of victory. Later the temple was brought up and maintained by the then Zamindars of the Bendapudi dynasty. Lord Amareswaraswamy temple was also built around the 12th century. The clear history of the temple is still a dilemma.
