She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences from The University of Texas at Austin and has published five children's books that use rhymes and illustrations to teach valuable lessons on friendship, diversity, consent, and identity. Her books are published by her own company, Danidow Publishing LLC, which operates in the US, Jamaica, and the UK.Danielle is also a former elite athlete who represented Jamaica at several international championships, including the World Championships in Athletics and the World Youth Championships, where she won a silver medal in the 400-meter hurdles. She now uses her expertise in track and field as a Sports Analyst for prominent Caribbean media companies, providing insightful and entertaining commentary on major events such as the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and the World Athletic Championships.Danielle is passionate about promoting literacy, health, and empowerment among children and youth. She is a former classroom teacher and child advocate who has worked with various organizations and initiatives to support the development and well-being of young people. She also designs diet plans for athletes and those with special dietary needs, drawing on her background in nutrition, experience as an elite athlete, and constant research to provide optimal guidance.Danielle was born and raised in the seaside town of Port Antonio, Jamaica, where she enjoyed a peaceful and idyllic childhood that inspires many of the stories and songs she writes for children. She attended Titchfield High School and Wolmer's Girls School, where she excelled both academically and athletically.
