Khan Mastana'' and his brother, Ustad Aziz Khan would also carry on the family''s musical traditions and go on to make significant contributions to Indian Classical Music. His nephews Ustad Vilayat Khan and Ustad Imrat Khan were also his disciples. Ustad Wahid Khan is the grandfather of sitar maestro Ustad Shahid Parvez Khan.
