Jessie Schlaser exemplifies Jesus's words in Matthew 25, "Then the King will say to those on His right. 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father, take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. I tell you the truth, whatever you did for the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me." Caring for the least of these has been Jessie's life. Now she shares that life with you in words of wisdom and encouragement she received from God in some of her darkest hours of personal pain and in testimonies of God's power manifest in her life and through her in the lives of others. Walk with Jessie as well through visions of the garden of God and heed the warnings of the troubles of our times. This book gives a chronological look at the walk with God of an everyday follower of Jesus Christ, someone just like you and me. Jessie's purpose in sharing with you is that you might be encouraged, uplifted, and inspired in your own daily life, whatever stage of life you are in and whatever you are going through.Hinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.
Born November 18, 1927, in Portland, Oregon, Jessie Schlaser's parents separated when she was two, and Jessie lived in a loving foster home until she was six years old. Then she endured years of physical and verbal abuse by a new foster mother who, later, along with her husband, adopted her. A woman she called her grandmother introduced Jessie to Jesus, and as an adult, Jessie asked Jesus into her heart and was baptized. She has served her Savior well, leading prisoners to Christ through her letters and disciplining them and ministering to people in care facilities as well as in their homes. Married for over sixty years, Jessie has raised two children and now cares for her husband, Fred, in their home. Over the years, Jessie has written many inspirational writings and testimonies that she has shared with others and has now put together in this book.
