Naomi Metzl began writing while working as a research scientist. What began as a bucket list challenge quickly developed into a passion that spawned a number of novels. After initially trying to navigate the world of publishers, Naomi eventually decided to set up Midnight Sunrise Publishing and publish independently. Naomi's writing draws on her own life experiences and worldwide events that permeate the media. They focus strongly on journeys of self-discovery and development, with an emphasis on strong female lead characters who are as wonderful as they are flawed. A keen amateur photographer, Naomi creates all her covers herself from images taken both in her native Australia and around the world. The process of capturing these photo, and seeing the story behind the view, are also play an inspirational role in Naomi's stories.
