The most fundamental and the most important teaching of all prophets has been the faith in the unity of Allah [SWT]. In its final shape, through the teaching of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) this faith in the unity of Allah [SWT] is expressed in the first part of the primary Kalimah of Islam as "There is no deity worthy of worship but Allah" (La ilaha illallah). This is the bedrock and foundation of Islam.. The declaration of this belief which differentiates a true Muslim from a kafir (unbeliever), mushrik or an atheist). However, the real meanings of TAWHEED are fully realised when, we avoid, in belief as well as in action, every form of disbelief, atheism and polytheism.
