Gothenburg, January 6, 1908 d. 1988) was a Swedish painter, printmaker and sculptor.Sjölander moved to Cuba and then to Mexico after World War II, where he exhibited in the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City for his first time. Some of his works are part of the collections of the Museo de Arte Moderno, Mexico City, and of the Göteborgs Konstmuseum, Gothenburg. He also participated in the 1960 and 1972 International Biennial of Sculpture in Tokyo, as well as in the 1961 Biennale de São Paulo.
