Christian Ernsten is Assistant Professor of Heritage Studies at Maastricht University, the Netherlands. Nick Shepherd is Associate Professor of Sustainable Heritage Management at Aarhus University in Denmark and Extraordinary Professor at the University of Pretoria, South Africa.
