What is the key to living the Christian life? Many Christians struggle to answer this question. Some Christians want to live the Christian life passively, waiting for Christ to make them holy. On the other hand, some focus entirely on their own works and faithfulness in practicing the spiritual disciplines. However, neither of these approaches is entirely accurate according to the Bible. What does the Bible teach? Is there a balance between these two viewpoints? Walking in Christ: The Key to the Christian Life seeks to clarify how to live the Christian life by addressing these basic questions: * What is Christianity and how do I become a Christian? * How do I balance the tension of passive reliance and active obedience? * How do I practice the spiritual disciplines? * How do I deal with temptation and sin? * How do I have a clear conscience? * How do I respond to spiritual warfare? * How do I persevere to the end of the Christian life? * How do I grow in maturity as a Christian? The goal of Walking in Christ is to help readers grow in their love for and obedience to Jesus Christ to the glory of God. There is a key to living the Christian life-it is found in Christ alone.
