Walking in The Light of God's Greatness is a spiritual journey of life and death on the streets of America and beyond. This book was written for those who have failed in life, have lost hope and direction, and for those who have no direction or who desire purpose. With a Christian overview and scripture, the screen for truth, this book shares true stories of life and death to help direct those who seek life. The purpose of this book is to help the reader see eternity each day in their actions and words and walk in the Light of God's Greatness. We ourselves are small, but our Lord Great! Why would we not want to seek comfort in his power, goodness, and strength, as he guides us to others, to touch, to share, to live? The things which are seen are temporal, the things which are not seen are eternal. Why not live in and for the eternal? Each day is an opportunity to allow the Lord to fill your life with eternal reward. IT IS ABOUT YOU!!! If is not about you, then who did Jesus die for? Do not allow others to set your importance aside so they can magnify themselves. The thought: Of all the men in the world that God could have chosen to help raise and watch over his son, it was not Great Kings and Prophets! He did not choose the religious elite or mega pastors, who claim to have a hot line to God. Famous leaders and the great heroes of life were not chosen. 'For ye see brethren how that not many wise after the flesh, and not many mighty or noble are chosen.'So who did the God of all creation entrust the raising of his only begotten son to? It was to an unknown carpenter, a simple man who worked hard every day to take care of his family. The Lord selected Joseph to care for his only begotten son. Joseph never became rich or famous. The bible says very little of this man. But the simple fact that God, who spoke worlds into existence, out of all the men in the world from the beginning of time to that moment, chose this one man to care for and love his son, Jesus as a child of Mary, says it all. Are you living in the shadows of other Christians who continually enjoy showing you their greatness and glory? Do you work each day, struggling to survive, feeling lost and worthless? Have you failed at everything? Are you seeking life from the Sunday sermons but walking away empty? Your Lord and Savior does not need the rich, the famous, those that glory in themselves, the ones who speak before thousands. One day Jesus visited a woman at a well. He shared with her and touched her life with grace. She was a nobody, and today no one knows her name. But this nobody lady who Jesus met, went and proclaimed his majesty and greatness to all her fellow villagers. Because she did, an entire village turned to the Lord. She was married five times, and currently lived with a man who was not her husband. This clearly hinted at her fallen state. But Jesus used her to save many. He visited her with grace, not condemnation. 'For Jesus came not into the word to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved.'It is you, who are unknown, the failures, the lost, those others care nothing for, it is you the Lord desires to use. Do not let rich and famous preachers claim it is not about you. They believe that because they feel it is about them. But it is about you. You are the one Jesus died for. Isn't it time for you to allow your Lord and Savior to fill your life with greatness, with eternal victories? The time is now and you are chosen. And even if you can't see that now or have doubts, that is okay. That is why this book was written, to help us live in his Greatness, in the Light of his Greatness. This book was written to let us look through the eyes of others to understand our wonderful purpose in the eternal plan of a loving and saving God, who is all powerful.IT IS ABOUT YOU. You are who Jesus died for. And now it is time for us to walk in the light of his Greatness. So, let us walk.
