In 2006, after receiving her Masters of Divinity, from Ashland Theological Seminary (ATS), Rev. Dawn A. Clark was licensed to preach the Gospel. She was later ordained in 2008. She also has a Masters in Counseling from ATS and an undergraduate degree in Computer Information Systems, from Western Michigan University. She the founder and director of DDC Counseling and Consulting Services, LLC, and she also serves on Southfield Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Council of Chaplains. In addition to preaching, she is a workshop presenter, teacher, and writer. She has taught at women's retreats, conferences, and Christian education sessions in the Metro Detroit Area. Each Sunday, she leads a small group utilizing Biblically-based materials and experiential methods to enable practical application of the Bible to their lives through building a closer relationship with God. Rev. Clark believes she has been called her to use her gifts of writing to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all people; so those in bondage may be free, the wounded may be healed, and Believers are drawn closer to Christ in order for people to fulfill the purposes and plans God has for their lives.
