Autorenporträt
Born in Ithaca, New York, and a full-time Vermont resident since 1983, J. E. Diaz has worked in the Landscape trade and the Ski industry and has wandered woods and mountains east and west, as well as abroad. In 2016, he began writing and publishing books that reflect his view of the natural world. His first book, Wandering Spring, Notes from the Woods of Winhall, Vermont, is an intimate journey of short stories that introduce his unique perspective. Following in the footsteps of Wandering Spring, his second book, Wisdom of the Vernal Woods, weaves nonfiction and fiction against the backdrop of spring woods in Vermont that entertains, inspires, and expands our view of the forest. In his third book, The Wielding, the author weaves non-fiction and fiction, with nature-inspired fantasy-past and present-that takes us to the threshold of an alternate future.
