Joy H. Davidson won the 2015 Storylines Joy Cowley Award, and a 2017 Storylines Notable Book award for this debut picture book. She is also the author of Oh No! Look What the Cat Dragged In! Nikki Slade Robinson earned a Diploma of Visual Communications Design from Wellington Polytechnic. She illustrates for a wide range of national and multinational businesses, producing greeting card artwork, cartoons, educational illustration, and art for more than 60 children's books.
