He has suffered from PTSD and the side effects of injuries he received as a United States Marine Corps infantry assault man. Writing has been the springboard that accelerated his healing. He has always had a strong desire to hear a good story, and he grew up on Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and 80s heroes. Gerard has walked many roads, and being an author has been a profoundly enjoyable one.Gerard's favorite hobby is being outside in mother nature, and his ultimate role in life is to be a good father and family man. He is fiercely devoted to his wife, children, and the higher power above. Gerard lives a crazy life in Florida.
