Autorenporträt
George Hibbert was born in 1939 in a small town in Michigan. His introduction to Science Fiction came with the book "Red Planet" by Robert Heinlein, which hooked him on the genre early in his teen years. By the time he reached sixteen, George had taken to writing his own short stories, In the ensuing years, George enlisted in the Air Force, married, and had four children. But his fascination with sci-fi continued unabated. Over the course of the next five decades, he worked at writing an epic sci-fi novel, creating, and discarding characters, pages, and ideas as his story slowly took shape. In the spring of Covid Year 2020, at the age of 80, he focused all his efforts on completing his novel, and "War Zone Eden" is the result - a book fifty years in the making. He is currently working on a sequel.
