Autorenporträt
Shannon Stocker is, herself, a patient with a chronic health condition. She's also the mother of two beautiful children, one with ADHD, and one with brain cancer. As such, Shannon dreams of filling bookshelves with stories that cultivate compassion while empowering children with disabilities. Shannon is the award-winning author of Listen: How Evelyn Glennie, A Deaf Girl, Changed Percussion (Schneider Family Book Award, Notable) and Can U Save the Day. When she's not writing, you can probably find her singing, playing piano, or eating dark chocolate. She advocates for warriors from her home in Louisville, KY, which she shares with her husband Greg, her children Cassidy and Tye, and way too many critters.
