Still Fireheart can’t trust the clan deputy Tigerclaw, he believes that the dark tabby warrior has murdered the former deputy Redtail, in order to become deputy and later clan leader himself. Which he has almost achieved-Bluestar, their clan leader, is on her last life and only Fireheart and the clan’s medicine cat, Yellowfang, are confined in that knowledge. While Fireheart and Graystripe are searching for for WindClan, a clan chased out of their own territory by ShadowClan, Fireheart can’t help wondering if he is leaving the clan woundable, with Tigerclaw, the greatest warrior and probably the most ambitious cat in the forest. And not a single cat suspects him, just Fireheart and Ravenpaw, Tigerclaw’s former apprentice. Will Fireheart reveal the truth about the dark-hearted warrior? Or will Tigerclaw shut the young warrior’s jaws forever?
I think the book was okay, because some parts weren’t that well written as it could have been. I think the book is good for children of all age, but no younger than 10 years and for those who like a good mixture of fantasy, war, friendship and love.
