At least his former apprentice Cinderpaw has found a new place in the clan, an accident on the thunderpath has crippled her permanently, as the medicine cat apprentice. Besides that Fireheart finds out that two RiverClan warriors, Mistyfoot and Stonefur, are formally out of ThunderClan and that Oakheart, who has been allegedly killed by Tigerclaw, has died in a fall of stones, another proof that Tigerclaw has killed Redtail. Will Fireheart be eventually able to reveal the truth about the most ambitious cat that has ever hunted in the forest? Will Graystripe stop meeting Silverstream to prevent a possible war inside the clan? And will Cloudkit begin to respect the warrior code?
I like the book a lot, because it’s written better than most parts. Just some parts of the end seem foolish and illogical. I recommend the book for children at the age of 10 and for all that like a mixture of fantasy, war, friendship and love.
