Born in Seattle, Washington, Walter Williams Jr. has been writing since the age of ten, mostly writing plays. His first play, "A Shade of Gray," won first place in a competition, resulting in its production at the Langston Hughes Cultural Arts Center. His earliest efforts have been drama and detective novels, particularly where the subject matter is controversial. Walter is a huge horror fan and his favorite tv show is the Twilight Zone.
